"Stone Tower Balance" hit #1 this week — 3 things I'd change on a rebuild
Crazy week. Stone Tower Balance went from a random Thursday-night build to the top of the feed by Sunday. The physics + the 50 P entry cost was the magic combo — players felt the wager and stayed for the rush.
Hindsight: 3 things I'd change if I rebuilt it from scratch:
1. **Tighter feedback on the wobble.** The current wobble is too subtle on small screens. Players tap-to-stabilise but the visual lags 100ms behind, so they keep over-correcting. Would add a yellow halo at 15° tilt as an early warning.
2. **A save move.** One "tap-tap to nudge upright" per round would 10x replay sessions. The risk feels different when you know you've got a parachute.
3. **Round-3 difficulty curve.** Right now rounds 1-4 all feel equal. I'd make the wind force scale 0.4 → 1.0 across the round so the late game actually feels harder.
Anyone want to remix and try these? Happy to share the original prompts in a reply.
