I shipped my first game in 12 minutes and I cannot stop smiling
I have wanted to "make a game" for literally six years. Bought 3 Unity tutorial bundles. Two GameMaker Studio licenses. A copy of the Godot book. A half-finished Coursera C# course.
Downloaded every single one. Finished none of them.
Last night I typed *"a stone-stacking balance game, 5 stones, 30 seconds, lose if it tips"* into the builder, hit Generate, and 90 seconds later **I was playing the thing I had imagined**.
Not a "demo" or a "prototype." A real game. With a score. That my friend just texted me back about.
I'm not saying every game I make from now on will be good. I'm saying the gap between "idea" and "thing I can share with someone" went from 6 years to 12 minutes. That's the whole story.
If you're reading this and you've been telling yourself you're not "really" a game developer — just type the sentence. Send it. See what happens.
